WHAT IT IS:

The RISE Retreat is a full day immersed in mentorship and supportive community where women come together to envision and plan for bold, loving change in our world.

This is your dedicated time to focus on your career and leadership path, allowing you to grow authentically and to lead as the world now needs you to: from your feminine wisdom, gifts, and energy.

Guiding you through this transformational and sacred container, your hosts Gina Marotta and Amy Galvin bring over 20 years of experience in leading with love, feminine wisdom, and achieving meaningful, magical results along the way.

Amy Galvin is a business leader, coach, and women’s equality advocate who works with individuals and companies to create more equitable workplaces and experiences for women. Amy is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Luxury Living Chicago Realty - a six-time Inc. 5000, fastest-growing company in America. In her time leading the organization, she has intentionally created a workplace where women have a seat at the table. Amy has been recognized as a Who's Who in Chicago Real Estate and a Bisnow Chicago Power Woman for her leadership and support of women in business.

Gina Marotta is a coach, lawyer, and women’s potential expert. She coaches and teaches individuals and teams about cultivating the power of “Feminine Genius.” This includes harnessing your innate talent and your feminine energy to do work that heals our world. Gina understands the plight of modern professionals having worked early in her career as a criminal defense attorney followed by a managing director position for a national nonprofit organization. Gina is a contributing author to the book Readings in Restorative Justice where she wrote about transforming her legal career from hard work to healing work. She has been featured in media outlets such as: Thrive Global, The Huffington Post, CBS News, WGN Radio, and The American Bar Association Magazine. She is also a prayer and meditation teacher on the Insight Timer app.

ADDITIONAL FEMININE LEADERSHIP MENTORS:

Renee Velasquez Togher is the CEO and President of Chicago-based Azteca Foods, Inc., a family-owned, leading manufacturer of tortilla products. In addition, Renee serves as the Chair of the Illinois Manufacturer’s Association and is on the Advisory Board of First Women’s Bank. Renee has served many for profit and nonprofit entities over the years with her unique leadership such as MB Financial, Home Run Inn Frozen Foods, Access Living, The Greater Chicago Food Depository, the National Museum of Mexican Art, and more. Renee is a member of the esteemed women’s leadership organization: The Chicago Network. And in 2011, she was awarded the Entrepreneurial Excellence Award. In addition to her contributions in business, Renee continues to be an active volunteer in school, church and youth activities. She currently resides in Lemont, Illinois with her husband; they have three children, and six grandchildren.

Kathy Bresler is the visionary founder of ALTAR Community and brings a wealth of experience to her role. With a background as an interspiritual minister from One Spirit Seminary and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Business, Kathy seamlessly bridges the secular and sacred. Kathy is an enthusiastic practitioner and facilitator of SoulCollage®, a playful yet profound process of creative self-discovery that has been nothing short of transformative on her own journey.  Her mission in founding ALTAR is to cultivate a cross-generational community that empowers women to thrive at every stage of life and invites us to co-create the world we all want to live in. 

Taylor Mae is an award-winning 3x founder, producer, host & speaker, writer, and coach radically committed to empowering individuals, communities, and businesses to align with their greatest potential. As a multidimensional leader with an eclectic background of experiences - from being a professional dancer and managing political campaigns to working in corporate marketing and starting scrappy businesses - she knows what it takes to achieve what she puts her mind to. Fueled by the belief that every single human is uniquely designed to live out their own fullest expression, Taylor is driven to create businesses, communities and opportunities for people to do just that.
